National park is situated in Chelyabinsk region.


The main tasks and duties of this park are: conservation of unique natural systems, history, culture and others natural objects; and the development of scientific method of nature conservation.The park includes such natural systems as alpine lake Zyuratkul, rivers Kalagaza and Bereznyak, rocks Zyuratkulskiye Poles, Elm grove. Among numerous attractions there are: mountain tundra plateau on the top of the ridge Nurgush, artesian spring, relict larch, Onion field in the upper reaches of Malaya Satka, forest-steppe areas of relict vegetation at an altitude of 850 m above sea level on a ridge Small Moskal, peat bogs on Cape Long spruce , rocks Bears on the ridge Zyuratkul.


Fauna
Fauna of "Zyuratkul" has 214 species, including 40 species of mammals: Predators - 14 (bear, wolf, fox, marten, ermine, and others.), Ungulates - 3 (elk, deer, wild boar rarely). The fauna also containes fish - 17 (bream, perch, grayling, burbot, pike and others), amphibious - 3, reptiles - 6, birds - 145. There are rare species: European mink, golden eagle, peregrine falcon, eagle owl, European grayling, Mnemosyne and Apollo ordinary. These species listed in the Red Book.



Flora
The territory is dominated by forests - spruce and spruce-fir and birch. The richness of flora proves the presence of 653 species of plants, including the Siberian and European (Siberian fir, spruce and others.).
